  Foreign students flocking to SA.

  The Bureau of Statistics says income generated by the increase has risen to $805 million, up from $294 million in 2002.

The bureau estimates South Australias share of international students in Australia was 5.3 per cent this year.

The State Government aims to increase the share to 9 per cent by 2014.

More than 600 students from 10 countries today attended the final graduation ceremony for the year of the University of South Australia.

Graduate Eric Kariuki from Kenya said he came to Adelaide to broaden his opportunities.

"I found it very welcoming actually - its very welcome for us internationals - it was easy to settle down, I enjoyed it," he said.

"People are very friendly and willing to show us around and its quite a simple life."
